Wild Rice Apple Bake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain wild rice
    1/4 c. butter
    3 c. chopped apple
    2 Tbsp. packed brown sugar
    1 c. sliced celery
    1/2 c. raisins
    2 1/2 c. water
Preparation
    Place contents of rice and seasoning packets in 2-quart casserole.
    Melt butter.
    Add apples and sprinkle with brown sugar.
    Cook until apples are lightly glazed.
    Add celery, raisins and water.
    Bring to a boil.
    Pour over rice, stir and cover. Bake at 375\u00b0 for 30 minutes.
    Uncover, stir and bake, uncovered, for 5 minutes longer.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
