Dumplings - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 tsp. salt
    4 tsp. baking powder
    3 tsp. shortening or oleo
    3/4 c. milk
    chicken broth
Preparation
    Mix ingredients in a bowl.
    Drop by spoonfuls into chicken broth.
    Cook for 10 minutes in a covered pan, then for 10 minutes, uncovered, over medium heat.
    Watch to make sure it doesn't get dry.
    Add liquid if needed.
    Salt and pepper to taste.
    You can also add parsley flakes (dried) to flavor.
