Low-Fat Raspberry Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. flour
    1 3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 c. unsweetened cocoa powder
    1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
    1 1/2 c. skim or 1% milk
    1/2 c. reduced fat margarine spread (Smart Beat or Promise)
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3 egg whites
    1/4 c. sugar
Preparation
    Combine dry ingredients and mix well.
    Beat in skim milk and softened spread along with the vanilla extract until smooth.
    Set aside.
    Combine egg whites with 1/4 cup sugar and beat.
    Fold egg whites into cake mixture until smooth.
    Pile into one or two well-greased and floured 9 or 10-inch round baking pans.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven for about 1 hour if using one pan, or about 35 to 40 minutes if using two pans.
    Remove and let cool.
