Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 balls green onions
    1 small onion
    1 stick butter
    2 or 3 cans chicken broth
    sliced potatoes
    1 or 2 1/2 pt. half and half
Preparation
    Simmer green onions, onion, butter and chicken broth until tender.
    Fill with sliced potatoes.
    Cook until tender.
    Mash until you have small chunks.
    Add half and half.
    Serve with fried cornbread.
