Meat Loaf - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    1/2 lb. ground pork
    2 slices bread
    3/4 c. milk
    1/2 c. minced onions
    1/2 c. catsup
    2 eggs
    salt and pepper
Preparation
    Mix beef and pork in a bowl.
    Soak the bread in the milk and shred.
    Mix with the meat, onions and most of the catsup (reserve 2 tablespoons).
    Break in the eggs and season.
    Mix well together. Form into a loaf and place in a greased baking dish.
    Spread the remaining catsup over the top to form a crust.
    Place 6 slices of bacon over the top (optional).
    Bake in a 350\u00b0 oven for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
