Sausage Pecan Dressing - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. melted butter
1 1/4 c. chopped onion
1 c. diced celery
1/2 c. chopped celery tops
1/2 lb. sausage
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 tsp. pepper
7 c. cornbread crumbs
3/4 c. chicken broth
1 1/2 tsp. thyme
1 c. pecans
Preparation

Saute onion, celery and celery tops in butter.
Cook sausage in separate skillet.
Add salt, pepper and thyme to bread crumbs. Add crumb mixture to skillet with vegetables.
Drain sausage.
Add sausage to vegetable mixture.
Add more melted butter if needed. Taste for seasoning.
Add pecans.
Makes enough for 10 pound bird.
