Gingerbread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 eggs
    3/4 c. brown sugar
    3/4 c. molasses
    3/4 c. melted shortening
    2 1/4 c. flour
    2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
    3/4 tsp. baking soda
    2 tsp. ginger
    1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon
    1/2 tsp. cloves
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1 c. boiling water
Preparation
    Add
    beaten eggs to sugar, molasses and melted shortening. Add
    flour
    sifted
    with
    other dry ingredients and mix. Add hot water last.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 about 40 minutes in greased pan.
