White Chocolate Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1/4 lb. white chocolate, melted
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
2 1/2 c. cake flour, unsifted
1 c. buttermilk
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped pecans
1 c. flaked coconut
1 c. maraschino cherries, chopped
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Melt chocolate over hot water; cool. (May add few drops hot water to prevent hardening.) Cream butter and sugar; add melted chocolate and then eggs, one at a time. Beat well.
Sift dry ingredients together; add to creamed mixture alternately with buttermilk.
Add pecans, coconut and cherries, then vanilla.
Turn into greased and floured 10-inch tube pan. Bake 1 hour and 15 minutes in 350\u00b0 oven.
Needs no frosting.
