Sand Tarts - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. butter (room temperature)
    2 Tbsp. sugar
    1 c. flour, sifted before measuring
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. finely chopped pecans
Preparation
    Cream butter.
    Add sugar and vanilla.
    Stir in flour.
    Add pecans after ingredients are mixed well.
    Roll dough into small balls; bake on greased cookie sheet at 325\u00b0 for 25 minutes.
    Roll hot cookies in powdered sugar.
    Makes 3 to 4 dozen.
