Grits Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. water
    1 c. quick cooking grits
    1 1/2 c. sharp Cheddar cheese
    1/2 c. butter
    1/2 c. milk
    3 eggs, well beaten
    2 to 3 cloves garlic, minced
    salt and pepper to taste
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Bring water to a boil in medium-size saucepan.
    Add grits, salt and pepper. Return to boil.
    Reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
    Add cheese, butter, milk, eggs and garlic, stirring until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes more.
    Pour into lightly greased 2-quart casserole or baking dish.
    Bake in oven for 1 hour.
