Chocolate Meringue Crisp - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 egg whites
    3/4 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. vanilla or almond
    1/2 c. chopped nut meats
    1 pkg. chocolate snap cookies
    1 tsp. baking powder
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff and gradually add sugar and vanilla. Crumble chocolate snaps in bowl and add baking powder and nuts. Fold egg white mixture into this.
    Pour into greased pie plates and bake at 325\u00b0 for 40 minutes.
