Southern Pecan Pie - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (9-inch) pie shell, partially baked
    4 eggs (1 c.)
    2 c. light corn syrup, combined with 1/4 c. flour
    2 Tbsp. melted butter
    1/4 c. brown sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
    3/4 c. small pecans
Preparation
    To the flour, add corn syrup and blend until smooth.
    Add lightly beaten eggs slowly to the syrup mixture.
    Add melted butter slowly; add brown sugar, vanilla and pecans.
    Beat about 1 minute, until smooth.
    Pour into pie shell.
    Bake in a 325\u00b0 oven about 1 hour and 15 minutes or until filling rises in center even with sides.
    Watch closely the last 15 minutes.
    Do not overbake. Cool on cake rack.
