Mock Maple Syrup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 large, clean red corn cobs
    3 qt. water
    18 c. white sugar
    6 c. brown sugar
Preparation
    Simmer cobs in
    water 3 hours.
    Strain, then add enough water to make 3 quarts.
    Add sugars; boil 5 minutes and seal.
