Eggnog Angel Food Cake - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sifted cake flour
    1 1/2 c. sugar
    1/2 tsp. nutmeg
    1/4 tsp. cinnamon
    1/4 tsp. mace
    1/4 tsp. allspice
    1/8 tsp. cloves
    1/8 tsp. salt
    12 large egg whites, room temperature
    1 tsp. cream of tartar
    1 tsp. pure vanilla extract
    confectioners sugar for dusting
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
    Combine flour with 1/2 cup sugar, spices and salt.
    Place egg whites in a large bowl and beat with electric mixer until soft peaks form.
    Gradually add the remaining 1 cup sugar and vanilla.
    Beat just until stiff peaks form. Do not overbeat.
