Banana Split Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 c. melted butter
    3 c. graham cracker crumbs
    2 eggs
    1 c. butter, softened
    2 c. confectioners sugar
    1 (20 oz.) can crushed pineapple, drained
    5 large bananas, sliced
    1 (16 oz.) container frozen whipped topping
    1/4 c. chocolate sauce
    1/4 c. chopped nuts
    1/4 c. chopped maraschino cherries
Preparation
    Combine melted butter and graham cracker crumbs in bowl; mix well. Pat into 9 x 13-inch dish. Mix eggs, softened butter and confectioners sugar in mixer bowl. Beat at high speed with electric mixer for 5 minutes. Spread over crust. Layer pineapple and bananas over filling. Spread whipped topping over fruit. Drizzle chocolate sauce over top. Sprinkle with nuts and cherries. Chill in refrigerator for 4 hours to overnight. Yields 12 servings.
