Basic Icebox Yeast Dough - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 pkg. yeast
    1 Tbsp. salt
    2 eggs
    6 Tbsp. melted shortening
    2 c. warm water
    5 Tbsp. sugar
    7 c. flour (about)
Preparation
    Dissolve yeast in the warm water.
    Add salt, sugar and eggs; mix well.
    Add half the flour and all the melted shortening.
    Mix well.
    Add remaining flour and knead to a soft dough.
    Put in refrigerator.
    When doubled, work down.
    Grease lightly.
    Always keep well covered.
    Keeps well for about 5 days.
    Can be used for dinner rolls, coffee cake or cinnamon rolls.
