Super Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1/2 lb. butter or margarine
    4 sq. (4 oz.) unsweetened chocolate
    1 c. all-purpose flour
    2 c. sugar
    4 large eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1 c. pecans, coarsely broken
Preparation
    In a double boiler over hot water, stirring often, melt butter and chocolate.
    Remove from range and double boiler bottom; reserve.
    In a medium bowl, stir together flour and sugar; add eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth.
    Add reserved chocolate mixture and beat to blend.
    Fold in pecans.
    Turn into a buttered 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan.
    Bake in a preheated 350\u00b0 oven until a cake tester inserted in center comes out clean, about 25 minutes. Loosen edges; cool and cut into squares.
