Irish Scone - cooking recipe
Ingredients

4 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt (1/2 tsp.)
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/4 c. buttermilk
3/4 c. sugar
1 c. raisins
1 Tbsp. caraway seed (optional)
1/4 c. oil
Preparation

s. While kneading, gradually add 1 1/4 cups buttermilk.
Knead well.
Grease and flour frying pan or cookie sheet.
Place batter in frying pan and shape into mound.
Spread buttermilk on top and add a little sugar.
Snip a cross on top with scissors.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for first 10 minutes and at 350\u00b0 for 30 more minutes.
