Hush Puppies - cooking recipe

Ingredients

2 c. meal
1 onion, chopped fine
2 Tbsp. flour
1 egg
3 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt

Preparation

Add enough buttermilk to mix stiff batter.
Spoon into deep pan of hot oil.
Cook at 350\u00b0 until done.
Yields 24 hush puppies.
