Black Walnut Cake - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 sticks butter
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
3 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. evaporated milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. walnuts
1/4 c. flour
1/2 tsp. black walnut flavoring
Preparation

Cream butter, shortening, and sugar. Add sifted flour and baking powder to mixture. Alternating with milk, ending with flour. Add flavorings. Mix 1/4 c. flour with nuts, add to mixture. Blend and pour into greased and floured Bundt or tube pan. Bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 hour.
