Quick Rice Pudding - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 small pkg. vanilla pudding and pie filling
    2 1/2 c. milk
    1/2 c. uncooked instant rice
    1/4 c. raisins (optional)
    ground nutmeg (optional)
Preparation
    Place pudding mix in a large bowl; gradually blend in milk. Stir in rice, raisins and 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg.
    Microwave at High for approximately 8 minutes, or until mixture thickens, stirring 2 or 3 times.
    Refrigerate for about 1 hour.
    Stir again.
    Sprinkle with nutmeg.
    Chill.
