Aztec Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 1/2 lb. ground beef
    2 Tbsp. cooking oil
    1 (1 3/4 oz.) envelope chili seasoning mix
    1 (16 oz.) can peeled tomatoes
    1 (16 oz.) can kidney beans
    1/2 c. tomato juice or water
    dash of salt
    1/4 tsp. cumin (comino) powder (optional)
Preparation
    In skillet, brown beef in hot oil, chopping it into small granules as it cooks.
    Drain off excess fat.
    Sprinkle mix over meat; stir well.
    Add remaining ingredients; bring to a boil, stirring to blend flavors.
    Reduce heat; cover and simmer at least 15 minutes.
    Serves 6.
