Scotcheroos - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. sugar
    1 c. Karo syrup
    1 c. peanut butter
    6 c. Rice Krispies cereal
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. butterscotch bits
    1 (6 oz.) pkg. chocolate bits
Preparation
    Bring sugar and Karo syrup to a boil, then remove from heat. Add peanut butter and Rice Krispies to sugar mixture.
    Press into a 9 x 12-inch greased pan.
    Melt chocolate bits and butterscotch bits and spread over cookies in pan.
    Cut into bars.
