Corn Custard - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen corn or 1 (17 oz.) can whole kernel corn
    3 eggs
    3 Tbsp. sugar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 Tbsp. cornstarch
    2 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. butter
Preparation
    Place corn in greased 1 to 1 1/2-quart casserole.
    Beat eggs, sugar and salt slightly.
    Make paste of cornstarch and 2 tablespoons milk.
    Scald remaining milk; add to cornstarch mixture.
    Add butter.
    Slowly add egg mixture to milk mixture; blend well and pour over corn.
    Set casserole in pan of hot water 1-inch deep.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 45 to 50 minutes or until a knife inserted comes out clean.
