Mexican Corn Bread - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 c. yellow corn meal
    2 c. flour
    1/2 c. sugar
    8 tsp. baking powder
    1 tsp. salt
    3 beaten eggs
    2 c. milk
    1/2 c. oil
    1 1/2 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    1 large onion
    1 c. cream-style corn
    1 clove garlic, minced
Preparation
    Preheat oven to 400\u00b0.
    Combine corn meal, flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a bowl.
    Beat together eggs, milk and oil.
    Add to corn meal mixture along with cheese, onion, corn and garlic. Stir until just combined.
    Pour into two greased 8 x 8-inch pans. Bake 20 to 30 minutes, until toothpick comes out clean.
