Drunkards Lamb Stew - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3 lb. lamb scraps for stew, in 1-inch cubes
    1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, coarsely chopped
    3 to 4 cloves fresh garlic, minced
    1 can mushroom soup
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 c. white wine
    1 (8 oz.) can green chili
    1 c. brown rice
    sufficient amount of water to cook rice (see rice pkg. directions), plus 1 c.
    1 bottle Scotch, or other favorite beverage
Preparation
    Using a large frying pan, brown lamb scraps in oil, and transfer to crock-pot or large casserole.
    Leave oil and drippings in pan.
