Mexican Supper - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 1/2 to 2 lb. lean ground beef
1 finely chopped onion
1 to 2 minced cloves garlic
1 (7 1/2 or 8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1 (7 1/2 to 8 oz.) can taco sauce
1 (15 oz.) can chicken and rice soup
1 (15 oz.) can cream of mushroom or cream of chicken soup
1/4 tsp. paprika
12 corn tortillas
1 (4 to 5 oz.) can chopped green chilies
1 lb. shredded cheese (Cheddar, Colby or American)
1 Tbsp. oil
Preparation

Saute beef and onion in oil until blood cannot be seen.
Add all other ingredients except cheese and tortillas.
Simmer about 15 minutes.
In large casserole baking dish, cover bottom 1/8-inch deep with meat mixture.
Sprinkle top with cheese.
Add a layer of tortillas.
Alternate meat, cheese and tortillas, ending with meat and cheese, until all has been added.
Bake about 25 to 30 minutes or until cheese top is slightly brown in a 375\u00b0 oven.
Makes about 10 to 12 servings.
