Asparagus Supreme - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 Tbsp. flour
    2 tsp. margarine
    3/4 c. milk
    1 Tbsp. onion, finely chopped
    1/2 c. grated Cheddar cheese
    1 1/2 c. asparagus, cooked
    3 egg yolks, beaten
    3 egg whites, stiffly beaten
Preparation
    Melt margarine.
    Stir in flour.
    Add milk slowly and stir until thickened.
    Add yolks, cheese and onion; stir until cheese melts.
    Fold in asparagus after removing from heat; season to taste.
    Fold in egg whites.
    Bake in greased 1 quart casserole at 350\u00b0 for 45 minutes.
