Candy Peanuts - cooking recipe
Ingredients

3 c raw peanuts
1/2 c water
2 or 3 drops red food color (if desired)
1 c sugar
Pinch of salt
Preparation

Melt sugar and water, add nuts and salt and food color.
At medium heat cook until liquid disappears while watching and stirring.
Spread on baking sheet and put in oven at 3350 degrees until dry.
Check after 10 minutes.
Stir and carefully life from foil and return to oven if not dry.
When dry, allow to cool and store in a tight jar.
