Marinated Vegetable Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    3/4 c. vinegar
    1 tsp. salt
    1 c. sugar
    1 (17 oz.) English peas, drained
    1 (2 oz.) chopped pimento, drained
    1 c. chopped celery
    1 bunch green onion or purple onion, chopped
    1/2 c. vegetable oil
    1 tsp. pepper
    1 (16 oz.) French-style green beans
    1 (12 oz.) whole kernel corn, drained
    1 green pepper, chopped
Preparation
    Combine vinegar, oil, salt, pepper and sugar in a saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar.
    Cool. Combine vegetables
    and stir into vinegar mixture.
    Cover and place in refrigerator for 12 hours.
    Stir occasionally.
