Grandma'S Carrot Soup - cooking recipe
Ingredients

2 Tbsp. minced onions
1 tsp. margarine
4 c. water
1 cube chicken bouillon
3 Tbsp. cornstarch
1/2 c. cold milk
1 c. cooked and mashed carrots
Preparation

In a saucepan, melt margarine.
Add onion and cook until softened.
Add the water and the chicken bouillon and bring to a boil.
Mix the cornstarch with the milk and add it to the broth together with the salt and carrots.
Lower the heat and simmer, stirring constantly, until it thickens and boils.
Garnish with Parmesan cheese and croutons, if desired.
Makes 5 servings.
