Refrigerator Pickles - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    fresh cucumbers
    fresh onions x 2
    4 c. vinegar
    4 c. sugar
    1 1/2 tsp. mustard seed
    1 1/2 tsp. turmeric powder
    1/2 c. salt
Preparation
    Slice cucumbers and onions into a gallon jar.
    Mix the remaining ingredients in a large bowl.
    Pour it over jar contents. Stir every day.
    Ready to eat in 2 weeks.
    No need to stir anymore after 2 weeks if spices haven't settled to bottom.
