Tim'S Black Bean Chili - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 c. black beans, sorted and rinsed
    12 c. water
    2 Tbsp. cumin seed
    2 Tbsp. dried oregano
    1/2 c. olive oil
    2 c. finely chopped onion
    1 1/2 c. finely chopped green bell pepper
    1 1/2 Tbsp. paprika
    1 tsp. ground red pepper
    1 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. minced garlic
    1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
    1/3 c. finely chopped jalapenos
Preparation
    Bring beans and 6 cups of water to a boil in a 5 to 6 quart pot.
    Cover.
    Remove from heat and let stand 1 hour.
