Sensibly Delicious Double Chocolate Chip Brownies - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips
    1 c. sugar
    1/2 c. unsweetened applesauce
    2 Tbsp. margarine
    3 egg whites
    1 1/4 c. flour
    1/4 tsp. baking soda
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 tsp. vanilla
    1/3 c. chopped nuts
Preparation
    Melt 1 cup chocolate chips, sugar, applesauce and margarine in large saucepan over low heat, stirring until smooth.
    Remove from heat.
    Add egg whites; stir well.
    Stir in flour, baking soda, salt and vanilla.
    Stir in remaining chocolate chips and nuts. Spread in greased 9 x 13-inch pan.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for 16 to 20 minutes, just until set.
