Cheesy Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 potatoes, peeled and diced
    1 small onion, diced
    2 stalks celery, sliced
    2 medium carrots, peeled and sliced
    4 c. chicken bouillon
    1/2 to 3/4 c. shredded Cheddar cheese
    4 or 5 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
    cornstarch
    1 c. cream or milk
Preparation
    Cook potatoes, onions, celery and carrots in chicken broth until tender.
    Add cornstarch and thicken to the consistency of gravy.
    Remove from stove and stir in remaining ingredients and serve.
    Makes 6 to 8 servings.
