Vegetable Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    4 medium Irish potatoes
    4 carrots
    1 large onion
    1 small can green peas
    1 c. whole kernel corn
    1/2 c. uncooked macaroni (large)
    1/2 stick margarine
    1 Tbsp. bacon drippings
    salt to taste
Preparation
    Cook all raw
    vegetables until tender.
    Add peas, corn, margarine, bacon drippings,
    salt to taste and macaroni.
    Turn on medium heat, stirring often to keep macaroni from sticking. Let set awhile before
    serving
    to make broth thick and tasty. This is good way
    to
    use leftover vegetables.
    Also hamburger meat can be used
    to
    make
    this
    a wonderful wintertime meal. Serve with cornbread or crackers.
