Whipped Cream Frosting - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. milk
3 Tbsp. flour
1 stick butter
1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
Preparation

Mix milk and flour into a paste. Cook over low heat until thick. Remove from stove and cool. Beat butter and Crisco for 4 minutes, then add sugar. Beat 4 minutes more and add to cooled paste. Beat 4 minutes more and fold in vanilla; spread on cake. Makes enough frosting for 2 cakes. Store in refrigerator.
