Bob'S Favorite Dessert - cooking recipe

Ingredients

1/2 gal. mint ice cream, softened
1 pkg. Oreo cookies
1 (13 oz.) can evaporated milk
1/2 c. butter or margarine
2 sq. unsweetened chocolate
3/4 to 1 c. sugar

Preparation

Crush enough cookies finely to cover bottom of square or oblong pan.
Cover cookies with soft ice cream carefully.
Freeze. Mix evaporated milk, butter or margarine, unsweetened chocolate and sugar.
Cook and stir until thick.
Cool thoroughly.
Pour over top of refrozen ice cream.
Freeze again until firm.
