Asparagus Mold - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (14 1/2 oz.) can cut asparagus
    3/4 c. asparagus liquid
    3 Tbsp. (3 envelopes) unflavored gelatin
    3 c. cottage cheese
    1/3 c. buttermilk
    1 c. finely chopped celery
    1 Tbsp. minced onion
    1/2 tsp. salt
Preparation
    Drain asparagus, reserving liquid.
    Puree asparagus and set aside.
    Soften gelatin in the liquid over low heat, stirring occasionally, until dissolved.
    In a mixing bowl, beat cottage cheese until fairly smooth; add buttermilk and dissolved gelatin. Add asparagus; mix in celery, onion and salt.
    Turn mixture into mold until set.
    Makes 8 to 10 servings.
