Fresh Apple Cake - cooking recipe

2 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
2 eggs
4 c. diced apples
4 c. flour
1 Tbsp. salt
1 Tbsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. allspice
1 tsp. baking soda
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts
Preparation

Preheat oven to 350\u00b0.
Mix 2 cups sugar, oil and eggs; beat well until blended.
Add apples and mix on low speed remaining ingredients and beat until mixture is well blended and all flour is mixed in.
Stir in 1 cup of raisins and 1/2 cup chopped nuts. Bake at 350\u00b0 for 50 to 60 minutes in 9 x 13-inch pan.
Sprinkle with confectioners sugar or whipped cream or top with apple slices when baking.
