New Orleans Chicken - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (3 lb.) chicken, cut up and salted
    1 pkg. Lipton dehydrated onion soup
    1 bottle Kraft Russian dressing (with honey)
    1 (5 oz.) jar apricot preserves
Preparation
    Arrange chicken in 2-quart shallow casserole.
    Pour mixture over; cover and bake at 325\u00b0 for 1 1/2 hours.
    May uncover last 15 to 20 minutes.
    Leftovers reheat or good frozen.
    To salt chicken, may first soak in water and 1 tablespoon salt to cover for 15 to 20 minutes.
    Serves 6.
