Snickerdoodles - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 3/4 c. sifted flour
2 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. soda
2 Tbsp. cinnamon
Preparation

Combine shortening, sugar and eggs.
Sift flour, cream of tartar and soda together and add to creamed mixture.
Roll into balls the size of small walnuts.
Roll in mixture of sugar and cinnamon and place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheet.
Bake until lightly browned, but still soft.
Cookies will puff up at first, then flatten out.
Bake at 400\u00b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
