Alaska Salmon Chowder - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can salmon
    1 c. chopped onions
    1 c. celery
    2 cloves garlic
    4 Tbsp. margarine
    2 c. diced potatoes
    2 c. diced carrots
    4 c. chicken broth
    1 tsp. thyme
    1/2 tsp. black pepper
    1 c. chopped broccoli
    2 cans evaporated milk
    2 pkg. frozen corn
    minced parsley
Preparation
    Drain and flake salmon, reserving liquid.
    Saute onions, celery and garlic in margarine.
    Add potatoes, carrots, reserved salmon liquid, chicken broth and seasonings.
    Simmer, covered, 20 minutes or until vegetables are nearly tender.
    Add broccoli and cook 5 minutes.
    Add flaked salmon, evaporated milk and corn; heat thoroughly.
    Sprinkle with minced parsley to serve.
