Watergate Salad - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 can crushed pineapple (15 1/2 or 20 oz.)
    1 (3 1/2 oz.) pkg. instant pistachio pudding mix
    1 (9 oz.) carton whipped dairy topping
    1/2 c. nuts, chopped
    1 c. miniature marshmallows
    1/2 c. maraschino cherries, cut in small pieces (optional)
    diced banana (optional)
Preparation
    Mix topping and pudding mix.
    Mix
    well, then add other ingredients.
    Chill well.
