Apple Butter - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 c. dark brown sugar
    4 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. allspice
    applesauce
Preparation
    Put
    brown sugar, cinnamon and allspice in 6-quart cooker. Add half of applesauce (that has been put in blender to make it fine).
    Stir ingredients until well blended, then fill cooker with rest of applesauce.
    Cook about 24 hours on high until thick.
    Lid must not be tight, leave 1/2 to inch space.
    When cool, put in 1/2 pound margarine tubs and freeze.
