Hash Brown Potato Casserole - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 (32 oz.) pkg. frozen hash brown potatoes, thawed
    3/4 c. butter, melted
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 can cream of chicken soup
    1 (8 oz.) carton sour cream
    1 c. shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
    2 c. corn flakes, crushed
Preparation
    Combine potatoes, 1/2 cup of butter, onion, chicken soup, sour cream and cheese.
    Spoon into 2 1/2-quart casserole dish.
    Stir remaining butter into crushed corn flakes; sprinkle over potato mixture.
    Bake at 350\u00b0 for about 50 minutes, until brown.
    Serves 10 to 12.
