Joann'S Potato Soup - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    8-12 med. Potatoes, diced small
    3 stalks Celery, diced small
    3 Carrots, diced small
    1 sm. pkg. Mushrooms, sliced thin
    1 lg. Onion, diced
    1/2 stick Butter
    1 can Cream of Celery Soup
    1 can Cream of Mushroom Soup
    1 pkg. (1 lb.) Velveeta Cheese
    Salt & Pepper
    Parsley (optional) or fresh chives
    Milk
Preparation
    Boil potatoes, celery, carrots, mushrooms and onion until tender.
    Drain, reserving some of the water.
    Return vegetables to stove and add butter, soups and velveeta cheese.
    Add milk and reserved water until you get thickness you like.
    Add salt and pepper to taste.
    Add parsley and chives if desired.
