Nut Kisses - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    1 cup nuts, your choice, very finely chopped
    4 egg whites
    1 cup sugar
    1 1/8 tsp salt
    1/2 tsp vanilla
Preparation
    Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form.
    Beat in sugar.
    Fold in vanilla, salt and nuts.
    Batter should be fluffy.
    If not, beat longer.
    Drop by spoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet.
    Bake at 275\u00b0 for 40 - 60 minutes.
    Cookies will just barely be golden.
    If you cook too long, they will taste burnt.
