Mr. Martone'S Pasta Sauce - cooking recipe
Ingredients

1 (6 1/2 lb.) can peeled tomatoes
1 (12 oz.) can tomato paste
parsley
salt
pepper
1 1/2 lb. sweet sausage
1 1/2 lb. ground round
3 cloves garlic
garlic salt
1/4 c. bread crumbs
olive oil
1 large egg
Romano cheese
Preparation

Process the can of tomatoes and strain through a ricer into a 6-quart saucepan.
Add tomato paste, 1 tablespoon salt, pepper and parsley.
Cook at medium heat.
Put olive oil in skillet; be sure to cover the bottom.
Saute garlic and cut sausage into links and brown.
Place sausage into the sauce.
Put the ground round into a bowl.
Add egg, bread crumbs, parsley, salt, pepper and garlic salt to taste.
Also, grate Romano cheese to taste.
Form ground round into meatballs and brown.
After browning, add meatballs to the sauce.
Strain a small amount of pan drippings into the sauce. Cook for about 3 hours.
