Southwest Layered Taco Dip - cooking recipe

Ingredients
    2 (15 oz.) black beans
    3/4 lb. ground turkey
    1/2 c. chopped onion
    1 tsp. chili powder
    1 c. bottled salsa
    1 c. shredded Cheddar
    8 oz. sour cream
    3 Tbsp. chopped cilantro or parsley
    1/4 tsp. salt
    1 avocado, chopped
    2 to 3 plum tomatoes, chopped
    2 to 3 green onions, chopped
    tortilla chips
Preparation
    Drain and rinse beans.
    Combine with the raw turkey, onion and chili powder in a shallow 2-quart microwave dish, preferably transparent.
    Cover and microwave on High 8 to 9 minutes, stirring to mash beans and break up meat every 3 minutes until turkey is white.
    Stir in salsa.
    Sprinkle with cheese and microwave on High 1 to 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
